Sanborns Colors
In Sanborn's, "Waitresses in long, striped skirts brought carts of rainbow-colored juices: pomegranate, pineapple, guayaba" -La Lacuna, a mexican novel -
In a previous post I talked about how much I like going to Sanborns. Is not a five star restaurant but the memories of my childhood always sink every time we visit. One of the things I love about this place is the colorful uniform the waitress wear. If you are a lover of vintage mexico and traditional clothing this place is a must. The girls always look impeccable. As many argue that the uniform is based on the Adelita the waitresses are dressed in the colorful costumes of the Tehuantepec Indians from Oaxaca. Either way they always look gorgeous.
