Mexico 911

Its been hard looking for the words to write this post but I guess the correct information will do. During the last couples of days Mexico has been hit with some of the worst natural disaster in history. Hurricane Ingrid and Manuel have destroy hundreds of roads, houses, businesses and families in the states of Veracruz and Guerrero. Although Mexico's Red Cross is doing whatever is in their possibilities to help there's a hundreds of silent victims suffering from this tragedy: animals & beloved pets.

Sadly there's not a big social and civil education in Mexico regarding household pets and animals and a lot of them are just in street looking for little to eat and a cozy shelter. Worrying regarding this matter I found a great organization doing everything they can to help families and their pets to survive this disaster. Thanks to Mundo Patitas they are constantly notifying the community via Twitter and Facebook were to find shelter, blankets, food and basic necessities for your pet. If you live in or near the Mexico City area here are a list of shelters that can help you:

The houses are a little pricey but they are so easy to made.You can create one using old wooden boards that are not used. The wooden board shaped like a cube and given a hole in one corner, as the entrance of the dog. A dog house can you paint greenish brown color that resembles a tree trunk. The top can you add green plants as a roof for the dog house. So that looks the dog house like a tree. The green plants make a fresh dog house. I love this little books. When we got our two dogs I went a little puppy crazy and bought tons of dog books and every single one was trash. After a ton of research I decided to get one Cesar's book and The Dog Owner's Manual. The best $10 ever spend in dog books. This little book is my go to guide on everything dog and I specially love the way its design. All the graphics are cute and easy to read. They also sell The Owner's Maintenance Guide its pretty practical too!! But there's more they have a whole series in: Cat, Bride, Groom, Newlyweds, Home, Sex, Pregnancy, Baby, Toddler and Teen.

Looking 4 Lamp

I'm currently looking for a fun lamp for our living room. The ice cream shape lamp looks good... but I secretly want the chihuahua...just got to look for a nice table.

I was really sad last week to know that the Chihuahua from the Taco Bell commercials pass away. I'm not a fan of the taco chain but the little dog always make me smile. R.I.P. Gidget!

New Hayan card
